Initially download the required files to install Kali Linux in VirtualBox on Windows
- WinRAR or 7Zip (Required if the image of Kali Linux is compressed)
- Download Virtual Image of Kali Linux Vbox 64 Bit Ova

Step 1. Install VirtualBox

Step 2. Import and Install Kali Linux on VirtualBox

Step 3. Type User Name and Password
- When you start Kali Linux On VirtualBox it asks for Username and Password. The default user name is root and password is the opposite toor. When you entered the username and password click Sign in.
If you get an error “Failed to open a session for the Virtual machine” after starting Kali Linux on VirtualBox. Indeed, this means that you won’t be able to use the USB port in the virtual machine, hence, disable it from the settings of the VirtualBox and then restart Kali Linux.
